Cooling, Heating, and Power (CHP)

The Cooling, Heating, and Power (CHP) group at Mississippi State University creates systems that promote energy reliability and self-sufficiency for industrial and agricultural applications. CHP researchers are modeling and testing systems for distributed electric power generation with heat recovery to provide for high-efficiency delivery of a building’s electricity, heating, and cooling requirements. CHP has built a demonstration site to provide a state-of-the-art facility for testing, evaluation, and optimization of the technologies being developed. This demonstration site will also help educate the public on the benefits of CHP systems.
